After 5 minutes, Olov Ekberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Södernäs BK and the Uppsala BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. 4 minutes into the game, one of Södernäs BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Karl-Ove Eklund, was totally fooled by Uppsala BK's Joacim Fransson, who 6 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Uppsala BK's Jonathan Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charlie Sävström in the 10th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Uppsala BK's Max Alegren got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a little luck, Södernäs BK's Karl-Ove Eklund got control of the ball when Ove Grönlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Charlie Sävström struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jonathan Hansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Södernäs BK. Södernäs BK's Andréas Jonasson suffered a concussion after 26 minutes and had to leave the field. The supporters of Södernäs BK booed when Uppsala BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Ahlstedt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Henry Carlsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jonathan Hansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 38 minutes, Mattias Häger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uppsala BK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mattias Häger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Uppsala BK's Fritz Ahlstedt got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ove Grönlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leonard Grönlund kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Henry Carlsson made a kick off. With a little luck, Uppsala BK's Jonathan Hansson got control of the ball when Henry Carlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Kjellkvist got free with Jonathan Hansson in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Södernäs BK's Henry Carlsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Hansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 61 minutes, Henrik Sjö mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uppsala BK and the Södernäs BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Uppsala BK getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Henrik Sjö hit a great ball. With a little luck, Uppsala BK's Jonathan Hansson got control of the ball when Henry Carlsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Fritz Ahlstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Ove Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl-Ove Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Ahlstedt in the 71st minute of the match. If Henry Carlsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Kjellkvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fritz Ahlstedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ove Grönlund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Ove Eklund having to interfere. 1-1 became the score in the 87th minute when Henry Carlsson elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 91st minute, Karl Nordström fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpected shot in the 94th minute by Henry Carlsson got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
