Yelus Fc's Karl Ekeroth played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bengt-Rune Eriksson in the 3rd minute of play. Manfred Bergfelt struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Karl Ekeroth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vittån IF. Vittån IF's Karl Lövskog got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Vittån IF's Bengt-Rune Eriksson in 8 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Karl Ekeroth guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Tommy Bagge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Nordström having to interfere. 16 minutes into the game, Alex Salkvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vittån IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yelus Fc the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vittån IF's Alex Salkvist got a free kick in the 16th minute. Yelus Fc's Karl Ekeroth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Yelus Fc from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the game, Vittån IF's Karl Lövskog nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karl Ekeroth made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Vittån IF's zone, Jack Svanström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wictor Nordström came out of the goal and Jack Svanström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Karl Lövskog managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vittån IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Karl Lövskog was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Bagge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Nordström having to interfere. Jack Svanström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wictor Nordström having to interfere. Karl Lövskog could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Karl Ekeroth made a huge save. In the last second Karl Ekeroth throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bengt-Rune Eriksson in the 37thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. If Jack Svanström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Wictor Nordström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommy Bagge, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Bagge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Wictor Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Lövskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Ekeroth having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bengt-Rune Eriksson to strike the kick off in the second half. Tommy Bagge sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan Wallman hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Karl Ekeroth didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Karl Lövskog went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Karl Ekeroth stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bengt-Rune Eriksson's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. The supporters of Vittån IF booed when Yelus Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christopher Thorsberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69th minute of the match Evert Godholm sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Karl Ekeroth skillfully saved the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Vittån IF's Karl Lövskog sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Karl Ekeroth narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bengt-Rune Eriksson in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl Ekeroth saved Yelus Fc from getting behind. Karl Ekeroth took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl Lövskog, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christopher Thorsberg during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes Yelus Fc got a freekick which was hit by Christopher Thorsberg. Bengt-Rune Eriksson kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Wictor Nordström was a little too slow when Tommy Bagge got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 2-1. After 85th play minutes Bengt-Rune Eriksson shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Karl Ekeroth and just under the crossbar into goal. Jack Svanström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Wictor Nordström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karl Lövskog fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl Ekeroth having to interfere. Vittån IF's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
