The corner led Knivsta United's Allan Kruuse to fire away a dangerous shot which Vincent Wallander despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Jens Klementsson struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jan-Olof Rudqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borgstena IK.

The wind increased when Folke Lönn made the kick off in the second half. Borgstena IK's Vincent Wallander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Borgstena IK from getting a goal against them. Sture Söder could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Vincent Wallander made a huge save. Folke Lönn received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vincent Wallander came out and tried to block the shot, but Folke Lönn slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute of the match, Folke Lönn tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vincent Wallander saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a rather tough play, Borgstena IK's Bengt-Arne Wikander got a free kick in the 66th minute. Jan-Olof Rudqvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Vincent Wallander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sture Söder in the 92nd minute. Knivsta United's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
