Spectators: 6400 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1300, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Axel Clementsson started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Jack Rosen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erling Asplund was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Wennerberg in the 8th minute of play forced Rydsgård FK's goalkeeper Henric Josefsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Rydsgård FK's Alex Berglund got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manchester United's goalkeeper Erling Asplund, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Manchester United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joacim Pihlberg to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute Rydsgård FK were awarded a corner. Alf Jönsätt went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Alf Jönsätt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Erling Asplund quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Sven Nordin came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Manchester United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven Nordin couldn't finish the play. Erling Asplund came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Rydsgård FK's Jack Rosen. But to his dismay, Jack Rosen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Erling Asplund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Axel Clementsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Jack Rosen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Erling Asplund was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Erling Asplund stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jack Rosen's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Jack Rosen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 40 minutes into the game, Johannes Lange was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rydsgård FK the free kick. Jack Rosen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Asplund having to interfere. In the 45th minute Jack Rosen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erling Asplund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karl Wennerberg hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The Manchester United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Rydsgård FK were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Karl Wennerberg made the kick off in the second half. Henric Josefsson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven Nordin went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After 54 minutes, Rutger Bålström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United and the Rydsgård FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Manchester United's Rutger Bålström got a free kick in the 55th minute. Sven Nordin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henric Josefsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. Jack Rosen was extremely unlucky when he, in the 66th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Manchester United's Erling Asplund got control of the ball when Jack Rosen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Axel Clementsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erling Asplund was a little too slow when Axel Clementsson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-3. After 77 played minutes Axel Clementsson rounded Manchester United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-4. Jonathan Alefors hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Rydsgård FK's Philip Flinck seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Philip Flinck the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Rydsgård FK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Philip Flinck had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 82nd minute, one of Rydsgård FK:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Rydsgård FK. If Alex Berglund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the game, Manchester United's Sven Nordin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henric Josefsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-4. Alf Jönsätt kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The Rydsgård FK players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
