Mårten Lindmark started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rutger Julin during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rutger Julin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Rydebäck IF's goal looked a bit too open when Mårten Lindmark came free, but Jens Siggesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edvin Björk might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sven Henriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edvin Björk ran back to his position shaking his head. If Håkan Ståhlman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 23 minutes, Jens Siggesson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 26 minutes into the match, Svaneholm IK's goal looked a bit too open when Edvin Björk came free, but Sven Henriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Edvin Björk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sven Henriksson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edvin Björk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sven Henriksson having to interfere. After 38 played minutes Svaneholm IK got a freekick which was hit by Jerry Lindström. Sven Henriksson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edvin Björk in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Håkan Ståhlman made the kick off in the second half. Holger Nordkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jens Siggesson having to make a save. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Sven Henriksson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edvin Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edvin Björk blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sven Henriksson having to make a save. Edvin Björk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Sven Henriksson made a huge save. Sven Henriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Håkan Ståhlman in the 66th minute of the match. Rydebäck IF's Håkan Ståhlman got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvin Björk took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sven Henriksson. Sven Henriksson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pål Molin hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Mårten Lindmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens Siggesson having to interfere. Jan Lidberg's late challenge caught a Svaneholm IK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Lidberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Jan Lidberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Holger Nordkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edvin Björk could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Sven Henriksson made a huge save. Mårten Lindmark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Holger Nordkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Jens Siggesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Rydebäck IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Rydebäck IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
