Ulrik Nordström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Kjell Carlsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kjell-Arne Thidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Blyfot BK's goal looked a bit too open when Kjell-Arne Thidén came free, but Kjell Carlsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kjell-Arne Thidén fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Carlsson having to interfere. In the 39th minute Ulrik Nordström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kjell Carlsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kjell-Arne Thidén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gert Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blyfot BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gert Mattsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Finman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fredrik Sjögren hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by William Lindström got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kjell-Arne Thidén to strike the kick off in the second half. Gert Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Finman having to interfere. After 54 played minutes Kejslers UnderKnattar got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Sjögren. In the 60th minute William Lindström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kent Finman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kent Finman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Ulrik Nordström might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kjell Carlsson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ulrik Nordström ran back to his position shaking his head. If William Lindström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjell-Arne Thidén in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kjell Carlsson saved Blyfot BK from getting behind. Kjell Carlsson didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 81st minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. Ingvar Tinglöv hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Gert Mattsson came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Blyfot BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gert Mattsson couldn't finish the play. Ulrik Nordström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kjell Carlsson having to interfere. Kejslers UnderKnattar's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
