After taking down the ball on Diö's corner David Karlstedt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Kjell Carlsson quite easily take care of the ball. If Felix Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Diö's goal looked a bit too open when William Lindström came free, but Alex Pihlblad reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gert Mattsson in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alex Pihlblad, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Diö's Alex Pihlblad got control of the ball when Gert Mattsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gert Mattsson came free with the goalkeeper in the 23rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Alex Pihlblad could save by the left post. Alex Pihlblad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gert Mattsson went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gert Mattsson got free with Alex Pihlblad in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 31 played minutes Diö got a freekick which was hit by David Karlstedt. A collision led to Blyfot BK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alexander Bengtsson hit a great ball. Kjell Carlsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Erik Eriksson, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Blyfot BK's Gert Mattsson got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Diö's goalkeeper couldn't reach when William Lindström 45 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Lindström stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Diö was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pelle Tingelholm to maneuver through the defense. William Lindström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Karl-Erik Eriksson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kjell Carlsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from David Karlstedt. After 68 minutes, Nils Klemensson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Blyfot BK and the Diö players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Blyfot BK got a freekick which was hit by Nils Klemensson. Diö's Alex Pihlblad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Lindström in the 72nd minute of play. Eskil Lindgren took the ball and in the 76 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kjell Carlsson. Kjell Carlsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. William Lindström struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Alex Pihlblad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Blyfot BK. Alex Pihlblad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gert Mattsson in the 84th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gert Mattsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Blyfot BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Gert Mattsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Pihlblad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 92 minutes into the match, Blyfot BK's goalkeeper Kjell Carlsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Erik Eriksson. William Lindström succeeded in the game's 95th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Diö players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Blyfot BK.
