The supporters of Karlholmsslaktarlag booed when Kalix was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Ivarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kalix's David Ivarsson got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dick Käcker in the 17th minute of play forced Karlholmsslaktarlag's goalkeeper Stig Johansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredric Örnberg got free with Anthon Lundin in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Isak Widberg came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Karlholmsslaktarlag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isak Widberg couldn't finish the play. Anthon Lundin made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Fredric Örnberg sent off a good shot on target. If Fredric Örnberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Fredric Örnberg notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kalix's Anthon Lundin. Anthon Lundin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. David Ivarsson missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 34 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Stig Johansson right hand side. Stig Johansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Ivarsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 37 minutes into the game, Dick Käcker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Stig Johansson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fredric Örnberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anthon Lundin having to interfere. If David Ivarsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, Kalix's David Ivarsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stig Johansson narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Ivarsson was the one to do the kick off. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kalix fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Vilgot Valler walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. David Ivarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stig Johansson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. David Ivarsson ran back to his position shaking his head. 88 minutes into the match, Kalix's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Giliusson came free, but Anthon Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Johan Giliusson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Anthon Lundin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Kalix's goal looked a bit too open when Johan Giliusson came free, but Anthon Lundin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karlholmsslaktarlag's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
