Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Adrian Bålström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Per-Åke Henriksson in the 55th minute of play. After 55 played minutes Lokomotiv Länna got a freekick which was hit by Åke Isaksson. Per-Åke Henriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sven Skröder might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stefan Falkrantz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sven Skröder ran back to his position shaking his head. Åke Isaksson charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Åke Isaksson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martin Kollberg, 67 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 68thth minute of the game Sven-Ove Smitt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lokomotiv Länna's Adrian Bålström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Åke Henriksson couldn't finish the play. After having played for 90 minutes, Per-Åke Henriksson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
