Vallby BK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Looserville the free kick. After 10 played minutes Vallby BK got a freekick which was hit by Paul Alén. Looserville's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Per-Erik Tönnberg in the 13th minute. Joakim Wennerlund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Lundin in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Vallby BK booed when Looserville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adam Hultstrand didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johannes Hultstrand struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Mikael Blomkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vallby BK. Johannes Hultstrand took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mikael Blomkvist. Mikael Blomkvist dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Mattias Lundin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Looserville's supporters rose to their feet, but Mattias Lundin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joakim Wennerlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 31st minute, Looserville's Jens Löfdahl seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jens Löfdahl the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Looserville protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jens Löfdahl had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Peter Forssell stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Konrad Gustafsson, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Mikael Blomkvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. If Peter Forssell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mårten Kjellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
