The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute Orvar Simonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Törnqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Landin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Matthias Törnqvist made a huge save. In the 7th match minute, ZebastianD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anton Sandwall to maneuver through the defense. Markus Wennerquist's late challenge caught a Soltaggen BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Markus Wennerquist helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to ZebastianD getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Markus Wennerquist hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Jonas Landin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soltaggen BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonas Landin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matthias Törnqvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of ZebastianD booed when Soltaggen BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Edvin Sjögren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Malm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thor Haegg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Klementsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Soltaggen BK's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Klementsson came free, but Thor Haegg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikael Klementsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Soltaggen BK's Olof Smefeldt got a free kick in the 24th minute. In the 25th minute, Victor Malm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ZebastianD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Malm in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thor Haegg saved Soltaggen BK from getting behind. Thor Haegg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikael Klementsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 minutes, Jonas Landin made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. ZebastianD's Matthias Törnqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Markus Wennerquist was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, ZebastianD's Markus Wennerquist got a free kick in the 36th minute. The corner led Soltaggen BK's Mårten Odén to fire away a dangerous shot which Matthias Törnqvist despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Matthias Törnqvist made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Jonas Landin sent off a good shot on target. Victor Malm might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thor Haegg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Victor Malm ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Victor Malm made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rutger Bammerman during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Soltaggen BK booed when ZebastianD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michael Ferm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rutger Bammerman hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute Orvar Simonsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Törnqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Orvar Simonsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 66 minutes into the match, Jonas Landin notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of ZebastianD's Matthias Törnqvist. Matthias Törnqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Jonas Landin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matthias Törnqvist came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Soltaggen BK's Orvar Simonsson. But to his dismay, Orvar Simonsson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Orvar Simonsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthias Törnqvist having to interfere. Jonas Landin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
