Gert Hedberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Linus Molin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Linus Molin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Ljungberg in the 30th minute of play. Karl-Michael Jakobsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Adrian Strömberg came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Vassmolösa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Strömberg couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Training Academy FC's zone, Karl-Michael Jakobsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mattias Låsberg came out of the goal and Karl-Michael Jakobsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gert Hedberg to make the kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Karl-Michael Jakobsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mattias Låsberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Michael Jakobsson in the 60th minute of the match. In the 62nd minute, Evert Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eric Västerstrand hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 74 minutes, Michael Salkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Michael Jakobsson in the 76th minute of play forced Training Academy FC's goalkeeper Mattias Låsberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Olov Jönsson notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Training Academy FC's Mattias Låsberg. Mattias Låsberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vassmolösa's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Michael Jakobsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mattias Låsberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Michael Salkvist got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vassmolösa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
