Rinkaby BK's Mårten Ekeroth proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Rinkaby BK from getting a goal against them. Linus Molin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frans Bergman in the 10th minute of play. In the 13th minute of the match Tommy Bergström sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Linus Molin skillfully saved the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Charlie Hagberg during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mårten Ekeroth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Olof Vassenius in the 20th minute of the match. Rinkaby BK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Marcus Brogren scored to the left of an out of position Mårten Ekeroth, making the score, 1-0. After 26 minutes, Per-Erik Ahlroth mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rinkaby BK and the Vassmolösa players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Rinkaby BK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Per-Erik Ahlroth hit a great ball. Charlie Hagberg hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. 32 minutes into the match, Marcus Brogren notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rinkaby BK's Mårten Ekeroth. Mårten Ekeroth was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute, Marcus Brogren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Adrian Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vassmolösa's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Strömberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mårten Ekeroth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcus Brogren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Per-Olof Vassenius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mårten Ekeroth made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcus Brogren in the 45th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Frans Bergman during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Rinkaby BK getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Frans Bergman hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcus Brogren made a kick off. The supporters of Rinkaby BK booed when Vassmolösa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcus Brogren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rinkaby BK's zone, Marcus Brogren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mårten Ekeroth came out of the goal and Marcus Brogren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 57 minutes into the match, Rinkaby BK's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Brogren came free, but Mårten Ekeroth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vassmolösa's Linus Molin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Vassmolösa from getting a goal against them. After having played for 68 minutes, Per-Olof Vassenius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vassmolösa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Per-Olof Vassenius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Marcus Brogren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mårten Ekeroth was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. If Marcus Brogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Marcus Brogren made a precise shot to the right of Mårten Ekeroth. Rinkaby BK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Adrian Strömberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vassmolösa's supporters rose to their feet, but Adrian Strömberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Olov Jönsson couldn't finish the play. Vassmolösa's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcus Brogren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mårten Ekeroth breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Vassmolösa had played much better football throughout.
