Jens-Ola Strömberg hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Östen Kling might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Allan Högberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Östen Kling ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 20th minute, LEJIT's Kjell-Arne Jönsson ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kent Modig. Kent Modig yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Kista RK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Marcus Rosin 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. 31 minutes into the match, LEJIT's Edward Vall broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a rather tough play, Kista RK's Andreas Aleberg got a free kick in the 32nd minute. During the 36th minute of the match Jens-Ola Strömberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jens-Ola Strömberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Harald Axelsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Kent Modig skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. LEJIT's Harald Axelsson got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Östen Kling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Kista RK getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Andreas Aleberg hit a great ball. In the 49th match minute, LEJIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Rosin to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Östen Kling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Harald Axelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Kista RK getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Östen Kling hit a great ball. Kent Modig stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Sjöberg's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Harald Axelsson managed to get in a good position for a shot. LEJIT's supporters rose to their feet, but Harald Axelsson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kent Modig breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 65 minutes into the match, Kista RK's goal looked a bit too open when Marcus Rosin came free, but Kent Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Östen Kling during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of LEJIT booed when Kista RK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Östen Kling didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80th minute, Harald Axelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kista RK's Kent Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harald Axelsson in the 82nd minute of play. Harald Axelsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute Andreas Aleberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Allan Högberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Harald Axelsson came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the LEJIT fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Harald Axelsson couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Kista RK defense, Harald Axelsson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kent Modig. The Kista RK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kent Modig should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. LEJIT had won after a very even match.
