Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rinkaby BK's Frans Bergman started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andréas Berg during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Kista RK's Andréas Berg got a free kick in the 8th minute. A hard shot 11 in the game by Ivan Jakobsson from a close distance when the talented Kent Modig managed to make a qualified save. Kista RK's players were relieved. After 12 minutes, Marc Ahlqvist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kista RK and the Rinkaby BK players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Kista RK getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Marc Ahlqvist hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Bergman in the 20th minute of play forced Kista RK's goalkeeper Kent Modig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kent Modig made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ivan Jakobsson sent off a good shot on target. Östen Kling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Kent Modig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frans Bergman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kent Modig having to interfere. Ivan Jakobsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Kent Modig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Kista RK's zone, Charlie Hagberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kent Modig came out of the goal and Charlie Hagberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kent Modig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Bergman in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Kista RK's Östen Kling got a free kick in the 51st minute. 54 minutes into the match, Ivan Jakobsson notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Kista RK's Kent Modig. Kent Modig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 57 minutes into the match, Frans Bergman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kent Modig. Kista RK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frans Bergman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Andreas Aleberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mårten Ekeroth having to interfere. Östen Kling struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Mårten Ekeroth didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kista RK. A collision led to Kista RK getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Kjell Vennerberg hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frans Bergman in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kent Modig saved Kista RK from getting behind. If Ivan Jakobsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 85 played minutes Östen Kling rounded Rinkaby BK's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Östen Kling received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Mårten Ekeroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Frans Bergman came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Rinkaby BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frans Bergman couldn't finish the play.
