Seating: 1693, VIP seats: 147) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henning Odén started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Bengt-Arne Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ullared's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skanör FK the free kick. After 21 played minutes Ullared got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Brander. Ola Ekeroth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henning Odén, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Arne Andersson in the 27th minute of play forced Skanör FK's goalkeeper Krister Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 30 minutes of play, Ullared's Marko Hellgren made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Krister Tunander was left in no man's land by his defense there! 36 minutes into the match, Skanör FK's goalkeeper Krister Tunander had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marko Hellgren. Uno Ekenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ola Ekeroth having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ullared's goalkeeper Ola Ekeroth, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Uno Ekenberg during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Uno Ekenberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Ola Ekeroth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 83 played minutes, Ullared's Per Ivarsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Krister Tunander came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ullared reached it. After a rather tough play, Skanör FK's Anders Utter got a free kick in the 85th minute. It was beautiful to see Ullared's Sverker Ivarsson in action when he in the 86th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Krister Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marko Hellgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Skanör FK's goal looked a bit too open when Marko Hellgren came free, but Krister Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Arne Andersson in the 98th minute of play forced Skanör FK's goalkeeper Krister Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
