Tollered IF's Vincent Hydén proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Tollered IF from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the match, Strömsund's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hermansson came free, but Roger Sundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th match minute, Strömsund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anders Skager to maneuver through the defense. 20 minutes into the match, Strömsund's Wilhelm Olenberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vincent Hydén narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Roger Sundberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tor Strömbom, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 24th match minute, Strömsund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niklas Forssberg to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Per-Olof Fastesson got free with Vincent Hydén in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 30 minutes into the match, Tollered IF's goalkeeper Vincent Hydén had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Per-Olof Fastesson. Per-Olof Fastesson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Hydén having to interfere. Niklas Forssberg kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Joel Hermansson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tollered IF's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Hermansson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Sundberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 played minutes Tollered IF got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Söderström. Vincent Hydén showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Olenberg in the 47th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilhelm Olenberg to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tor Strömbom got free with Roger Sundberg in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 64 minutes into the match, Strömsund's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Hermansson came free, but Roger Sundberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 67 minutes, Tor Strömbom managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tollered IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tor Strömbom was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vincent Hydén took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Per-Olof Fastesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 74th minute of the match Alexander Alrot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vincent Hydén skillfully saved the ball. Per-Olof Fastesson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wilhelm Olenberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Hydén having to interfere. If Wilhelm Olenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Strömsund booed when Tollered IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Hermansson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Tollered IF supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tollered IF would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
