Henry Rosendahl's late challenge caught a Maggzz Boyzz's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Henry Rosendahl helped the player get up and apologised. Henry Rosendahl kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Helge Wall hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Kent Alebeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 9 minutes into the match, Björksele's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Sigman came free, but Harald Hurtig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, Björksele's Sivert Örn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dick Bremming narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 11 played minutes Björksele got a freekick which was hit by Kennet Larsson. 13 minutes into the match, Åke Sigman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Harald Hurtig. Björksele's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Åke Sigman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Åke Sigman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Henry Rosendahl hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Maggzz Boyzz's Kjell Örtlund tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Sigman in the 28th minute of play forced Björksele's goalkeeper Harald Hurtig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kennet Larsson struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Dick Bremming didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Björksele. Harald Hurtig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Åke Sigman in the 31st minute of the match. Kent Alebeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Hurtig having to interfere. With a little luck, Maggzz Boyzz's Dick Bremming got control of the ball when Kennet Larsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Åke Sigman came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Maggzz Boyzz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Sigman couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ola Hallgren during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The Björksele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Björksele booed when Maggzz Boyzz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Birger Lidman didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kent Alebeck got free with Harald Hurtig in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 1-2 became the score in the 62nd minute when Åke Sigman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dick Bremming showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Örn, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Kent Alebeck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Hurtig having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sivert Örn in the 92nd minute of play forced Maggzz Boyzz's goalkeeper Dick Bremming to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Björksele fans cheered their team off the field, for while Maggzz Boyzz had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
