John Bäcklin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutger Albohm having to interfere. In the 14th minute, Karl-Michael Wahlnäs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karl-Michael Wahlnäs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evert Sundling charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evert Sundling the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Per-Åke Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niklas Tillman in the 41st minute of play. John Bäcklin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Rutger Albohm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Måns Backman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jumkils IF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Måns Backman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Niklas Tillman to make the kick off. A collision led to Jumkils IF getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Martin Dalman hit a great ball. Per-Åke Matsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viktor Glanselius, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Jumkils IF's Per-Åke Matsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by August Lindström in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Jumkils IF getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Evert Sundling hit a great ball. Karl-Michael Wahlnäs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Rutger Albohm made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Karl-Michael Wahlnäs sent off a good shot on target. Per-Åke Matsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from August Lindström, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 89 minutes into the match, FC JIN's goalkeeper Rutger Albohm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Michael Wahlnäs.
