Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jan-Erik Nordin started the match with the kick off. Kenneth Hamnberg charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kenneth Hamnberg the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Kenneth Hamnberg hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. The long shot by Torgny Duset in the 7th minute really tested Conny Modig's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 8 minutes into the match, BK Hindås's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Erik Nordin came free, but Conny Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. BK Hindås's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jan-Erik Nordin 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. BK Hindås's Conny Modig played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jan-Erik Nordin in the 18th minute of play. Conny Modig made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Sven-Erik Stenman sent off a good shot on target. When Jan-Erik Nordin came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Mellbystrand FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Erik Nordin couldn't finish the play. Jan-Erik Nordin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Claes Engman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Mellbystrand FF's Jan-Erik Nordin in the 42nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Conny Modig was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for BK Hindås through an amazing save.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Börje Brummer made a kick off. Claes Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Modig having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, BK Hindås's goal looked a bit too open when Claes Engman came free, but Conny Modig reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claes Engman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jan-Erik Nordin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Conny Modig tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claes Engman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Conny Modig didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jan-Erik Nordin went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Börje Brummer put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ivar Falk. Conny Modig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claes Engman in the 78th minute of play. Stig-Åke Hedbom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Ivar Falk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Erik Nordin struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Conny Modig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mellbystrand FF. In the 89thth minute of the game Claes Engman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BK Hindås's Conny Modig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 90th minute, Jan-Erik Nordin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mellbystrand FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Claes Engman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conny Modig having to interfere.
