Tim Haegg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vilgot Apelqvist in the 10th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Vilgot Apelqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Risbäck fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If Johan Brolin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 30 minutes, Jens-Åke Stenkvist managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BK Skunksnor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jens-Åke Stenkvist was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Jens-Åke Stenkvist got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Mattias Linquist was a little too slow when Olof Västberg got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Åke Stenkvist got free with Mattias Linquist in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johan Brolin made a kick off. Vilgot Apelqvist could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Tim Haegg made a huge save. Johan Brolin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Haegg having to interfere. Jens-Åke Stenkvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mattias Linquist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Risbäck getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Tomas Sandström hit a great ball. Aleksander Bruse was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind BK Skunksnor's goalkeeper Tim Haegg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, BK Skunksnor's Per-Åke Bergman got a free kick in the 84th minute. Johan Brolin had several of the BK Skunksnor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 86 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-2 score and a disappointed Tim Haegg as he didn't even see the shot coming. The Risbäck supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Risbäck would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
