Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Habo FF's Vincent Haglund started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mats Strandberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 3rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rikard Bern. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mats Strandberg ran back to his position shaking his head. Mats Strandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rikard Bern having to interfere. Rikard Bern came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Länghem's Karl-Åke Hermansson. But to his dismay, Karl-Åke Hermansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Martin Norström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rikard Bern made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Åke Hermansson in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Mats Strandberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 21 minutes into the game, Mats Strandberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Rikard Bern was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Martin Norström's late challenge caught a Länghem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Norström helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Habo FF getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Martin Norström hit a great ball. Rikard Bern stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Åke Hermansson's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. Mats Strandberg struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Rikard Bern didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Länghem. 34 minutes into the match, Habo FF's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Strandberg came free, but Rikard Bern reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Karl-Åke Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Åke Hermansson in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rikard Bern saved Habo FF from getting behind. Vincent Haglund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Sundberg having to interfere. Mathias Sundberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Norström in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mats Strandberg in the 45th minute of play forced Habo FF's goalkeeper Rikard Bern to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Länghem were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 54 played minutes Länghem got a freekick which was hit by Per-Åke Igelström. After a rather tough play, Habo FF's Vincent Haglund got a free kick in the 56th minute. Mats Strandberg succeeded in the game's 58th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. 60 minutes into the game, Inge Lustig was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Länghem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Habo FF the free kick. Inge Lustig hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Habo FF's zone, Karl-Åke Hermansson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Bern came out of the goal and Karl-Åke Hermansson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Habo FF's Vincent Haglund got a free kick in the 68th minute. Habo FF's Rikard Bern played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Strandberg in the 71st minute of play. In the 75th minute Mats Strandberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rikard Bern saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Habo FF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Mats Strandberg scored to the left of an out of position Rikard Bern, making the score, 0-5. Karl-Åke Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Mats Strandberg came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Länghem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mats Strandberg couldn't finish the play. If Karl-Åke Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Habo FF's zone, Inge Lustig stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rikard Bern came out of the goal and Inge Lustig tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle sounded Länghem left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Habo FF.
