Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Karl Nässén made the kick off which started today's match. Mats Strandberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reine Kellman having to interfere. Team Lycksele's Reine Kellman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Strandberg in the 8th minute of play. Karl Nässén took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathias Sundberg. Mathias Sundberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Länghem's Mathias Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Eriksson in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th minute Vidar Åkerberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Sundberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Team Lycksele's goalkeeper Reine Kellman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Åke Hermansson. In the 21st minute, Team Lycksele's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Karl-Åke Hermansson fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Reine Kellman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mats Strandberg's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Team Lycksele getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Petter Wallin hit a great ball. Bengt-Rune Söderberg took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reine Kellman. Team Lycksele's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Team Lycksele getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ingemar Sjödin hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the match, Team Lycksele's Karl Nässén sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mathias Sundberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 40 minutes into the match, Team Lycksele's goal looked a bit too open when Mats Strandberg came free, but Reine Kellman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mats Strandberg received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Reine Kellman came out and tried to block the shot, but Mats Strandberg slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 42nd minute. Mats Strandberg succeeded in the game's 47th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mats Strandberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Team Lycksele got a corner. Länghem's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sixten Skarkman ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Team Lycksele's Sixten Skarkman to fire away a dangerous shot which Mathias Sundberg despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Reine Kellman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mats Strandberg in the 62nd minute of play. A collision led to Team Lycksele getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Vidar Åkerberg hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Team Lycksele got a freekick which was hit by Gösta Asklöv. Inge Lustig took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 70th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reine Kellman. Team Lycksele's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Team Lycksele's Vidar Åkerberg suffered a concussion after 72 minutes and had to leave the field. The supporters of Team Lycksele booed when Länghem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inge Lustig didn't get a good kick on the ball. Team Lycksele's Birger Eriksson got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Mats Strandberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Länghem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Per-Åke Igelström to maneuver through the defense. Länghem's Mathias Sundberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Birger Eriksson in the 82nd minute of play. If Karl-Åke Hermansson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Team Lycksele's Reine Kellman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Strandberg in the 88th minute of play. Reine Kellman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Åke Hermansson in the 91st minute of the match. In the 93rd match minute, Team Lycksele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ingemar Sjödin to maneuver through the defense. Länghem's Mathias Sundberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Länghem from getting a goal against them. Mathias Sundberg came out of the goal in the 98th minute to try and stop a shot by Team Lycksele's Birger Eriksson. But to his dismay, Birger Eriksson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
