Mattias Gustavsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mattias Gustavsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Kurt Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasmus Billberg in the 10th minute of play forced Onerandomteam's goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Nyström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Sebastian Wennerqvist was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Onerandomteam's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Onsala IFK the free kick. The audience was convinced that Mattias Gustavsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kurt Pettersson was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Christopher Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kurt Pettersson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Onsala IFK's zone, Mattias Gustavsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kurt Pettersson came out of the goal and Mattias Gustavsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rasmus Billberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Gustavsson in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Pettersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Christopher Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Kurt Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 36 played minutes, Onsala IFK's Stig Danielsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bengt-Åke Nyström came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Onsala IFK reached it. Bengt-Åke Nyström came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Onsala IFK's Kaj Hök. But to his dismay, Kaj Hök quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Onsala IFK's goalkeeper Kurt Pettersson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mattias Gustavsson. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattias Gustavsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Kurt Pettersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mattias Gustavsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rasmus Billberg got free with Bengt-Åke Nyström in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Christopher Forsberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mattias Gustavsson in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kurt Pettersson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mattias Gustavsson struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Kurt Pettersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Onerandomteam. Christopher Forsberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Kurt Pettersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Rune Örtendal took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kurt Pettersson. Onsala IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Bengt-Åke Nyström made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Rasmus Billberg sent off a good shot on target. 1-3 became the score in the 88th minute when Rasmus Billberg elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Christopher Forsberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kurt Pettersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattias Gustavsson in the 96th minute of play. The Onerandomteam manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Onsala IFK to win.
