Skogås FK's Torbjörn Berggren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Ström in the 37th minute of play. Anthon Lindkvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig-Arne Björk in the 41st minute. Torbjörn Berggren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Bjurström, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute.

After 53 minutes, Leif Hjälm mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lysekil and the Skogås FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 55 played minutes Lysekil got a freekick which was hit by Martin Bjurström. Gottfrid Söderström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lysekil were furious when Eric Pihlwall was red carded, 59 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 59th minute, one of Lysekil:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Lysekil. In the 77th minute, Jonathan Ström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skogås FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 83rd minute, Jonathan Ström made a precise shot to the right of Anthon Lindkvist. Lysekil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Stig-Arne Björk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anthon Lindkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Arne Björk in the 94th minute of play. Skogås FK's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
