The Glassbaronerna fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Birger Valler should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Mitra kukar's goalkeeper Göran Kleen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rickard Skoglund. After some careless play in the Mitra kukar defense, Rickard Skoglund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Göran Kleen. The Mitra kukar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Göran Kleen should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Hans Månsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

In the 52nd match minute, Mitra kukar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elliott Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. Göran Kleen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rickard Skoglund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Hans Månsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Lars Vase managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mitra kukar's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Vase was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Birger Valler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Glassbaronerna walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
