Björn Nyberg didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hans Månsson went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 23rd minute, Bengt Hägglund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leif Olofsson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Birger Valler skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Glassbaronerna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rickard Skoglund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Glassbaronerna had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
