This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Andy Olenberg as he didn't even see the shot coming. Harald Forsman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alvin Lindqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Borgstena's goal looked a bit too open when Harald Forsman came free, but Alvin Lindqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Borgstena's Alvin Lindqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Per-Arne Sjöberg in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Borgstena's zone, Harald Forsman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvin Lindqvist came out of the goal and Harald Forsman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Per-Arne Sjöberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alvin Lindqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Borgstena's goalkeeper Alvin Lindqvist, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Borgstena's zone, Per-Arne Sjöberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvin Lindqvist came out of the goal and Per-Arne Sjöberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvin Lindqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harald Forsman, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Alvin Lindqvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Harald Forsman went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Per-Arne Sjöberg to strike the kick off in the second half. Alvin Lindqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Per-Arne Sjöberg in the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 64 minutes, Harald Forsman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Svanavattnet IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harald Forsman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Harald Forsman got free with Alvin Lindqvist in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alvin Lindqvist made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harald Forsman in the 68th minute. In the 68th match minute, Borgstena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Lövgren to maneuver through the defense. Alvin Lindqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michael Rosin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
