Spectators: 6660 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Markus Söderqvist took the kick off in the first half of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kennet Ahlstedt got free with Walter Caspersson in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kennet Ahlstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Walter Caspersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mjöbäck's Walter Caspersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Mjöbäck from getting a goal against them. In the 9th match minute, Mjöbäck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göran Kjellqvist to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Botsmark's Urban Bruhn broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Mjöbäck getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Elof Ekgren hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Leif Forsman put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eskil Bergqvist. Villiam Burman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Markus Söderqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leif Forsman in the 25th minute of play forced Botsmark's goalkeeper Eskil Bergqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eskil Bergqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mikael Almkvist, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 35th minute Mikael Almkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eskil Bergqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Botsmark's Villiam Burman got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the Botsmark defense, Elof Ekgren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eskil Bergqvist. The Botsmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eskil Bergqvist should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Mikael Almkvist made the kick off in the second half. Walter Caspersson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markus Söderqvist in the 53rd minute of play. In the 60thth minute of the game Mikael Almkvist who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Botsmark's Eskil Bergqvist was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 62 minutes into the game, Bo-Erik Gunnarsson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mjöbäck's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Botsmark the free kick. In the 62nd match minute, Mjöbäck was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bo-Erik Gunnarsson to maneuver through the defense. Villiam Åberg missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 64 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Walter Caspersson right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kennet Ahlstedt in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walter Caspersson saved Mjöbäck from getting behind. If Mikael Almkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Markus Söderqvist received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Walter Caspersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Botsmark getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Villiam Burman hit a great ball. Leif Forsman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Bergqvist having to interfere. Eskil Bergqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Almkvist in the 91st minute of the match. Kennet Ahlstedt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mjöbäck eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
