Greger Bergstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Villiam Åberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Holmsund FK's goal looked a bit too open when Kennet Ahlstedt came free, but Greger Bergstedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Villiam Burman during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Villiam Burman hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Konrad Skog took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eskil Bergqvist. Botsmark's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 17th play minutes Torgny Berggren shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Eskil Bergqvist and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 20th minute, Villiam Åberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Holmsund FK's Konrad Skog tried to score from far away in the 21st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Greger Bergstedt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markus Söderqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fredric Östman hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Markus Söderqvist sped through Holmsund FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Greger Bergstedt. In the 33rd minute of the match Adam Bokelund shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Greger Bergstedt showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Adam Bokelund fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Botsmark's protests and gave Adam Bokelund a yellow card for diving instead. Adam Bokelund kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Torgny Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Eskil Bergqvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 50th minute Markus Söderqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Greger Bergstedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Markus Söderqvist to make the kick off. Markus Söderqvist fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greger Bergstedt having to interfere. Eskil Bergqvist came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Holmsund FK's Pontus Sjö. But to his dismay, Pontus Sjö quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Kennet Ahlstedt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Greger Bergstedt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Holmsund FK's goalkeeper Greger Bergstedt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kennet Ahlstedt. In the 77th minute of the match, Kennet Ahlstedt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Greger Bergstedt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Holmsund FK's zone, Markus Söderqvist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Greger Bergstedt came out of the goal and Markus Söderqvist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th minute, Villiam Åberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Pontus Sjö put it in 3-2 from a short distance just to the right of Eskil Bergqvist. Torgny Berggren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eskil Bergqvist having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Botsmark players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Holmsund FK.
