Orvar Nordkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kennet Sandell in the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Furuskogens Atletiska's goal looked a bit too open when Mårten Bogren came free, but Orvar Nordkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Mårten Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Furuskogens Atletiska's Kent Käller got a free kick in the 12th minute. Bygdeå IF's Mårten Bogren got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kennet Sandell in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orvar Nordkvist saved Furuskogens Atletiska from getting behind. In the 19th minute Hubert Algren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adam Thidén saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tage Hamnberg during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tage Hamnberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Walter Vedholm recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anders Pil hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Adam Thidén made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Walter Vedholm sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Furuskogens Atletiska booed when Bygdeå IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anders Pil didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Furuskogens Atletiska's Hubert Algren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adam Thidén narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Kennet Sandell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orvar Nordkvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mårten Bogren, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Furuskogens Atletiska's Orvar Nordkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kennet Sandell in the 41st minute of play. When Walter Vedholm came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Furuskogens Atletiska fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walter Vedholm couldn't finish the play. Kennet Sandell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hubert Algren was the one to do the kick off. Hubert Algren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Mårten Bogren came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Bygdeå IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mårten Bogren couldn't finish the play. Kennet Sandell struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Orvar Nordkvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bygdeå IF. If Mårten Bogren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Furuskogens Atletiska fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, Bygdeå IF's Håkan Tholsson got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Orvar Nordkvist. When Walter Vedholm fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Furuskogens Atletiska's protests and gave Walter Vedholm a yellow card for diving instead. Walter Vedholm hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Furuskogens Atletiska's goal looked a bit too open when Mårten Bogren came free, but Orvar Nordkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Mårten Bogren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Orvar Nordkvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mårten Bogren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Furuskogens Atletiska's Kent Käller got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 85th play minute Kennet Sandell came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Orvar Nordkvist. 0-3. Walter Vedholm might have been able to make a better finish in the 91st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adam Thidén. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walter Vedholm ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over Bygdeå IF could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Furuskogens Atletiska throughout the match.
