After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Jimmy Alstedt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Södertälje IK's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimmy Alstedt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roger Jansson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Egil Skoglund to make the kick off. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 73 minutes into the match, Lemunda IF's goal looked a bit too open when Jimmy Alstedt came free, but Roger Jansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74th play minutes Kalle Jonasson shot 4-0, a short shot which went by Roger Jansson and just under the crossbar into goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Malcolm Strömqvist during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lemunda IF getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Malcolm Strömqvist hit a great ball. Södertälje IK's Jakob Klack was substituted for Kalle Wennerqvist. Roger Jansson came out of the goal and Jimmy Alstedt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 93 minutes, Jimmy Alstedt made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Lemunda IF's Roger Jansson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Södertälje IK fully deserved thier win.
