Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Idre FK's Konrad Engström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 11thth minute of the game Johnny Pedersson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Idre FK's Jesper Strömbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bengt Grep received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jesper Strömbom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Skoghall Fk booed when Idre FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ivar Edström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jesper Strömbom didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bengt Grep went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Idre FK's zone, Johnny Pedersson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesper Strömbom came out of the goal and Johnny Pedersson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jörgen Alströmmer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Konrad Engström in the 28th minute of play. If Oliver Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Idre FK's Jesper Strömbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johnny Pedersson in the 33rd minute of play. After 35 minutes, Zebastian Stenberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skoghall Fk and the Idre FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 36th minute, Zebastian Stenberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Johnny Pedersson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 47 minutes, Johnny Pedersson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skoghall Fk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Pedersson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Johnny Pedersson made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Idre FK's goal looked a bit too open when Bengt Grep came free, but Jesper Strömbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Hellgren's late challenge caught a Idre FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aron Hellgren helped the player get up and apologised. Aron Hellgren hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Konrad Engström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jörgen Alströmmer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jörgen Alströmmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Engström in the 65th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Bengt Grep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jesper Strömbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jesper Strömbom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johnny Pedersson in the 81st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bengt Grep in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jesper Strömbom prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 minutes, Christer Browald mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Idre FK and the Skoghall Fk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bengt Grep sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jesper Strömbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Pedersson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oliver Holmberg got free with Jörgen Alströmmer in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Skoghall Fk's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
