After a defensive mix-up in Herrhagens boys's zone, Matthias Grubb stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Lang came out of the goal and Matthias Grubb tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Matthias Grubb's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isac Lang was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Matthias Grubb reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Isac Lang. The goal made the score 1-0. Matthias Grubb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Isac Lang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matthias Grubb, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthias Grubb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Isac Lang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matthias Grubb might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Isac Lang. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Matthias Grubb ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthias Grubb in the 28th minute of play forced Herrhagens boys's goalkeeper Isac Lang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karl-Åke Forsberg was extremely unlucky when he, in the 29th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Matthias Grubb sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isac Lang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthias Grubb, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Grillby FC's Matthias Grubb got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Grillby FC's Karl-Åke Forsberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isac Lang narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Matthias Grubb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Karl-Åke Forsberg came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Grillby FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Åke Forsberg couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Matthias Grubb shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isac Lang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthias Grubb in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Lang prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Andreas Wallgren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Matthias Grubb had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Matthias Grubb got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herrhagens boys's Isac Lang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matthias Grubb in the 74th minute of play. Isac Lang showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Åke Forsberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. The throw-in from Sören Lundberg in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Grillby FC's William Lund. Grillby FC's Stefan Larsfelt got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 87 minutes, Matthias Grubb made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Herrhagens boys's Isac Lang tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Stefan Larsfelt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Grillby FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
