Nyhamnsläge's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edvard Berggren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Palm BK getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ture Emander hit a great ball. Edvard Berggren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lars-Erik Apelkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nyhamnsläge's zone, Daniel Samuelsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jörgen Hellström came out of the goal and Daniel Samuelsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, Palm BK's goal looked a bit too open when Nils Lidman came free, but Lars-Erik Apelkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute, Edvard Berggren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Palm BK's Ture Emander got a free kick in the 28th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Alfred Forsell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palm BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfred Forsell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörgen Hellström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Alfred Forsell came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Palm BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfred Forsell couldn't finish the play. After 37 played minutes Daniel Samuelsson rounded Nyhamnsläge's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Daniel Samuelsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Hellström having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edvard Berggren to make the kick off. If Alfred Forsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfred Forsell in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörgen Hellström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Palm BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gilbert Wikander in the 55th minute. The supporters of Nyhamnsläge booed when Palm BK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Samuelsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfred Forsell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Jörgen Hellström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Nyhamnsläge's goalkeeper Jörgen Hellström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rdth minute of the game Daniel Samuelsson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nyhamnsläge's Jörgen Hellström was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Alfred Forsell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 67 played minutes Palm BK got a freekick which was hit by Christer Fransson. Palm BK's Kurt Forsman got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nils Lidman who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Lars-Erik Apelkvist when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 71 minutes, Ture Emander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palm BK and the Nyhamnsläge players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfred Forsell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jörgen Hellström having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Nyhamnsläge fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! When Daniel Samuelsson came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Palm BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Samuelsson couldn't finish the play. If Daniel Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörgen Hellström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Samuelsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th minute Daniel Samuelsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jörgen Hellström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfred Forsell struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jörgen Hellström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palm BK. There was no doubt that Palm BK were the better team. Palm BK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
