Spectators: 7303 (Terracing: 5478, Seating: 1680, VIP seats: 145) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Karl Hedström took the kick off in the first half of the match. With his leg Henric Cane managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Säffle FK's Börge Wallmark fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 7 played minutes Säffle FK got a freekick which was hit by Jakob Willig. Max Bergman, 8 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. When Sonny Fors fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Säffle FK's protests and gave Sonny Fors a yellow card for diving instead. Elof Siggesson went to the wrong direction when Max Bergman was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Prässebo's Henric Cane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl Hedström in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Prässebo's John Hallgren got a free kick in the 18th minute. Elof Siggesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stefan Edström in the 21st minute of play. After 22 minutes, Tobias Elg made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Säffle FK's Elof Siggesson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The tension between the Säffle FK and the Prässebo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elof Siggesson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Säffle FK's zone, Stefan Edström stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elof Siggesson came out of the goal and Stefan Edström tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 36th minute, Tobias Elg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Prässebo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Tobias Elg's late challenge caught a Säffle FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tobias Elg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd minute, Börge Wallmark got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Stefan Edström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 47 minutes into the match, Säffle FK's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Edström came free, but Elof Siggesson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Stefan Edström to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Prässebo's Stefan Edström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Elof Siggesson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Prässebo booed when Säffle FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melker Sigfridsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Stefan Edström came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Prässebo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stefan Edström couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Stefan Edström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prässebo's supporters rose to their feet, but Stefan Edström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stefan Edström in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elof Siggesson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Björn Sandberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Elof Siggesson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
