Tobias Bocklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jakob Willig in the 5th minute of play. Peder Hjeltman hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Börge Wallmark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Bocklund having to interfere. Elof Siggesson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximilian Kvist in the 12th minute of play. If Henrik Högman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jan-Åke Hammarström kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Säffle FK's Elof Siggesson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joacim Ståhlman in the 26th minute of play. Elof Siggesson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joacim Ståhlman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 35 minutes, Henrik Högman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Torino and the Säffle FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 35th minute, Henrik Högman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl Hedström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Tobias Bocklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Börge Wallmark could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Tobias Bocklund made a huge save. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Henrik Högman made the kick off in the second half. Tobias Bocklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Börge Wallmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 52 minutes into the match, Torino's goal looked a bit too open when Börge Wallmark came free, but Tobias Bocklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Torino getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Maximilian Kvist hit a great ball. If Börge Wallmark had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elof Siggesson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrik Högman in the 68th minute of the match. 75 minutes into the match, Torino's goal looked a bit too open when Karl Hedström came free, but Tobias Bocklund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Jakob Willig fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Säffle FK's protests and gave Jakob Willig a yellow card for diving instead. Joacim Ståhlman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 86 minutes into the game, Henrik Högman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elof Siggesson. Henrik Högman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. The Torino supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Torino would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
