Spectators: 7324 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gert Viberg took the kick off in the first half of the match. Robin Tinglöf took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 3rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claes Tholsson. Stehag's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Stehag's Bengt-Arne Lustig got a free kick in the 4th minute. After having played for 10 minutes, Kristoffer Ekenberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stehag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kristoffer Ekenberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Stehag's Claes Tholsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Filiph Larsfelt in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Stehag getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Rolf Skarkman hit a great ball. If Kristoffer Ekenberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gert Viberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Bengt-Arne Alebom tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Alebom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pål Sjöberg in the 20th minute of the match. Claes Tholsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rutger Alin in the 27th minute. When Pål Sjöberg came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Stehag fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pål Sjöberg couldn't finish the play. Pål Sjöberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Nils-Åke Siggman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pål Sjöberg in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bengt-Arne Alebom saved Hogla IF from getting behind. Bengt-Arne Alebom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristoffer Ekenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42ndth minute of the game Pål Sjöberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hogla IF's Bengt-Arne Alebom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bengt-Arne Alebom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristoffer Ekenberg in the 45th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filiph Larsfelt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kristoffer Ekenberg who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 60thth minute tested the skills of Bengt-Arne Alebom when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Rolf Skarkman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bengt-Arne Alebom having to interfere. Bengt-Arne Alebom stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gert Viberg's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Hogla IF's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Alebom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wiktor Hammarbäck. Kristoffer Ekenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Stehag's Bengt-Arne Lustig got a free kick in the 72nd minute. Mattias Vall hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Pål Sjöberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stehag's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pål Sjöberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 played minutes Hogla IF got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Vennerlund. It was beautiful to see Stehag's Wiktor Hammarbäck in action when he in the 87th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The supporters of Stehag booed when Hogla IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robin Tinglöf didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gert Viberg in the 91st minute of play forced Hogla IF's goalkeeper Bengt-Arne Alebom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner ended in Wiktor Hammarbäck almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hogla IF's Bengt-Arne Alebom did a great save. Kristoffer Ekenberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hogla IF succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Stehag had controlled the match.
