Solberga IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patrik Albäck was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fredrik Tillman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Patrik Albäck's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. When Vilhelm Wik came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the FC Stolpskott fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vilhelm Wik couldn't finish the play. Vilhelm Wik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Patrik Albäck scored 0-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fredrik Tillman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 45 minutes of play Solberga IFK's Oscar Lövskog was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Solberga IFK's Oscar Lövskog got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gunnar Johnsson to make the kick off.
