Jim Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Hedvall in the 11th minute of play. Verner Hedvall struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Jim Lindholm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vallsta IK. After a rather tough play, Vallsta IK's Fredrik Emander got a free kick in the 21st minute. Jim Lindholm came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Vallsta IK's Pär Östman. But to his dismay, Pär Östman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Mårten Bergström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Adrian Lund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jim Lindholm stood somewhat misplaced when Verner Hedvall came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 36 minute. Vidar Tunberg took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jim Lindholm. Jim Lindholm dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 43rd minute, Verner Hedvall got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jim Lindholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Verner Hedvall in the 45th minute of play. Höganäs IFK's Jim Lindholm proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Höganäs IFK from getting a goal against them. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Verner Hedvall made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Verner Hedvall had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jim Lindholm. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Höganäs IFK's goalkeeper Jim Lindholm, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Verner Hedvall in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jim Lindholm saved Höganäs IFK from getting behind. There was no doubt that Vallsta IK were the better team. Vallsta IK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
