In the 15th minute, Ola Nordstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 18 minutes, Tom Bure managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alfa Beta Sigma's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tom Bure was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christoffer Ahlgren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Axel Högberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Forsheda IFK's Fredrik Eliasson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Krister Molander in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, Alfa Beta Sigma was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pontus Magnusson to maneuver through the defense. When Karl-Axel Högberg came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Forsheda IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Karl-Axel Högberg couldn't finish the play. Ola Nordstedt hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. The supporters of Forsheda IFK booed when Alfa Beta Sigma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krister Molander didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Forsheda IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Krister Molander came free, but Fredrik Eliasson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Forsheda IFK's Karl-Axel Högberg slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Christoffer Ahlgren. That made the score 1-0 after 34 minutes of play. Åke Fridlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Christoffer Ahlgren made a huge save. Christoffer Ahlgren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Åke Fridlund in the 41st minute. Måns Helström hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Alfa Beta Sigma's Christoffer Ahlgren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Alfa Beta Sigma from getting a goal against them. Karl-Axel Högberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Christoffer Ahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Åke Fridlund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Alfa Beta Sigma's goal looked a bit too open when Karl-Axel Högberg came free, but Christoffer Ahlgren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Karl-Axel Högberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Forsheda IFK's Åke Ödman got a free kick in the 55th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Krister Molander in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fredrik Eliasson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 59 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alfa Beta Sigma! 3-0 became the score in the 65th minute when Åke Fridlund elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Karl-Axel Högberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Forsheda IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl-Axel Högberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christoffer Ahlgren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Forsheda IFK's zone, Tom Bure stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fredrik Eliasson came out of the goal and Tom Bure tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Karl-Axel Högberg in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christoffer Ahlgren saved Alfa Beta Sigma from getting behind. 76 minutes into the match, Åke Fridlund had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Christoffer Ahlgren. Alfa Beta Sigma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Åke Fridlund was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 82 minutes into the game, Måns Helström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alfa Beta Sigma's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Forsheda IFK the free kick. Karl-Axel Högberg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Christoffer Ahlgren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Åke Fridlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 minutes of play, Forsheda IFK's Åke Fridlund made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christoffer Ahlgren was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Forsheda IFK were the better team. Forsheda IFK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
