Forza Bajen's Hans Sörman got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Per-Olof Ekström cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Kent Vennerdal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Per-Olof Ekström's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kent Vennerdal was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. After 23 played minutes Forza Bajen got a freekick which was hit by Magne Mickelsson. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Olof Ekström in the 25th minute of play forced Vrigstad BF's goalkeeper Kent Vennerdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vrigstad BF's Jens-Ove Söderquist got a free kick in the 35th minute. Kent Vennerdal came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Forza Bajen's Per-Olof Ekström. But to his dismay, Per-Olof Ekström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Per-Olof Ekström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Kent Vennerdal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Karl-Ove Åström was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Forza Bajen's Allan Berglund got a free kick in the 56th minute. Tage Bruse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Johansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Olof Ekström in the 77th minute of play forced Vrigstad BF's goalkeeper Kent Vennerdal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Vrigstad BF's goal looked a bit too open when Hans Sörman came free, but Kent Vennerdal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vrigstad BF's Jens-Ove Söderquist got a free kick in the 86th minute. Forza Bajen's Per-Olof Ekström got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Per-Olof Ekström's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kent Vennerdal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Forza Bajen left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Vrigstad BF.
