Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rune Örtendal got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Karl Kjellberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ivan Stephansson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Ljungberg having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rune Örtendal in the 6th minute of play forced Alnö FF's goalkeeper Frans Ljungberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alnö FF were furious when Wictor Nyman was red carded, 9 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave FC Gnaget a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rune Örtendal, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alnö FF's Frans Ljungberg. 0-1. Rune Örtendal scored 0-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frans Ljungberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Frans Ljungberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rune Örtendal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Gnaget getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Birger Gadd hit a great ball. Dag Bergman kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rune Örtendal in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frans Ljungberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frans Ljungberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Stephansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. The supporters of FC Gnaget booed when Alnö FF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dag Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Alnö FF's goal looked a bit too open when Rune Örtendal came free, but Frans Ljungberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dag Bergman hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Rune Örtendal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Gnaget's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rune Örtendal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When FC Gnaget's Ivan Stephansson in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alnö FF's goalie prevented a goal. Rune Örtendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Verner Hellgren to make the kick off. If Rune Örtendal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Verner Hellgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenny Månsson having to interfere. Kenny Månsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Verner Hellgren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 58 minutes into the match, Alnö FF's goalkeeper Frans Ljungberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rune Örtendal. After having played for 59 minutes, Verner Hellgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alnö FF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Verner Hellgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rune Örtendal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 70 minutes into the match, Verner Hellgren had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kenny Månsson. FC Gnaget's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Verner Hellgren was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Alnö FF's Frans Ljungberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save Alnö FF from getting a goal against them. Verner Hellgren struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Kenny Månsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alnö FF. A collision led to FC Gnaget getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ernst Gulliksson hit a great ball. Max Myr could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Frans Ljungberg made a huge save. Rune Örtendal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frans Ljungberg having to interfere. Ivan Stephansson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 90 in the game by Rune Örtendal from a close distance when the talented Frans Ljungberg managed to make a qualified save. Alnö FF's players were relieved. After 91 minutes, Dag Bergman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Alnö FF and the FC Gnaget players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Alnö FF got a freekick which was hit by Dag Bergman. Rune Örtendal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Frans Ljungberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Frans Ljungberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Stephansson in the 95th minute of the match. FC Gnaget's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
