Sakarias Wennerqvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mattias Björklund read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Lönsboda IF's Magne Svartengren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christoffer Backlund in the 6th minute of play. Wictor Brummer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mattias Björklund having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Axel Hedling had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Magne Svartengren. Lönsboda IF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Hedling was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th match minute, Lönsboda IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reine Holmgren to maneuver through the defense. 24 minutes into the game, Christoffer Backlund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Magne Svartengren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 27 minutes into the match, Lönsboda IF's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Hedling came free, but Magne Svartengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Axel Hedling came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Brothas BK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axel Hedling couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Brothas BK's goalkeeper Mattias Björklund had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wictor Brummer. Harald Bergfeldt's late challenge caught a Brothas BK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harald Bergfeldt helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lönsboda IF's Harald Bergfeldt got a free kick in the 39th minute. After 42 played minutes Lönsboda IF got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Mickelsson. In the 43rd minute, Axel Hedling got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the game, Brothas BK's Christoffer Backlund nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magne Svartengren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After the first half Brothas BK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Axel Hedling stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Brothas BK's Ture Beckeman got a free kick in the 57th minute. After some careless play in the Brothas BK defense, Wictor Brummer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mattias Björklund. The Brothas BK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mattias Björklund should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Lönsboda IF's Magne Svartengren got control of the ball when Christoffer Backlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute Axel Hedling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Magne Svartengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Brothas BK fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Brothas BK's Axel Hedling looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mattias Björklund didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sakarias Wennerqvist went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. Charlie Löfgren charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Charlie Löfgren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 85 minutes into the game, one of Brothas BK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Axel Hedling fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Magne Svartengren having to interfere.
