After 3 minutes, Wictor Brummer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lönsboda IF and the Fagerfjäll players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Lönsboda IF getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Wictor Brummer hit a great ball. Kurt Sjöström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Magne Svartengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Magne Svartengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonny Åkesson, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sakarias Wennerqvist in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christer Hedberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sakarias Wennerqvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Egon Mossberg hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Christer Hedberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sakarias Wennerqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonny Åkesson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Magne Svartengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jonny Åkesson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andreas Mickelsson hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Magne Svartengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonny Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Magne Svartengren didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kurt Sjöström went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 42nd match minute, Fagerfjäll was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Egon Mossberg to maneuver through the defense. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Sakarias Wennerqvist sped through Fagerfjäll's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christer Hedberg. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonny Åkesson to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Fagerfjäll's Kurt Sjöström nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Magne Svartengren made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Sjöström in the 56th minute of play forced Lönsboda IF's goalkeeper Magne Svartengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Jonny Åkesson made a precise shot to the right of Magne Svartengren. Lönsboda IF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When Lönsboda IF's Sakarias Wennerqvist in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lönsboda IF players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fagerfjäll.
