The coaching staff of Vartofta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ronny Ahlbeck had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vartofta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The supporters of Vartofta booed when Solna Kickers United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claes Gunnarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Vartofta had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
