Kvissleby IK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christopher Ahlerot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 11th minute, Jens-Ove Eliasson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ersmark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Hans Smitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jens-Ove Eliasson in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kvissleby IK's goalkeeper Hans Smitt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 19 minutes into the match, Christopher Ahlerot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hans Smitt. In the 22nd minute Greger Sjödin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hans Smitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viggo Larsson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ingvar Brummer's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Viggo Larsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hugo Alefors in the 27th minute of the match. If Hugo Alefors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hans Smitt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Göran Vollander, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Dahlqvist lost his temper 39 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Kvissleby IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 38th minute. Penalty! Maximilian Samuelsson walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Ersmark getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Christopher Ahlerot hit a great ball. After having played for 48 minutes, Fredric Lund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kvissleby IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fredric Lund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Greger Sjödin made a kick off. Fredric Lund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Viggo Larsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viggo Larsson came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Kvissleby IK's Ingvar Brummer. But to his dismay, Ingvar Brummer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. In the 58th minute, Fredric Lund left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kvissleby IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Hans Smitt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Göran Vollander in the 69th minute. Fredric Lund struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Viggo Larsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kvissleby IK. In the 72nd minute Ingvar Brummer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Larsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78thth minute of the game Ingvar Brummer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ersmark's Viggo Larsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hans Smitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greger Sjödin in the 81st minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Greger Sjödin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hans Smitt was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. Hans Smitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Eliasson, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. When the match clock showed 93 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Ingvar Brummer sped through Ersmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Viggo Larsson. After a defensive mix-up in Ersmark's zone, Fredric Lund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Viggo Larsson came out of the goal and Fredric Lund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
