Spectators: 7380 (Terracing: 5536, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) After a rather tough play, Årby FC's Lennart Hegg got a free kick in the 2nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jim Uggla in the 5th minute of play forced Årby FC's goalkeeper Einar Sjögren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alvar Fernström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Einar Sjögren made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Sigvard Beckman sent off a good shot on target. John Lövgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Anton Friberger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Årby FC's Einar Sjögren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jim Uggla in the 24th minute of play. Sigvard Beckman struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Einar Sjögren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eftra Queerboys. If Alvar Fernström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charlie Valrot kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Årby FC's Robin Colin tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jim Uggla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Sjögren having to interfere. Alvar Fernström blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anton Friberger having to make a save. In the 43rd minute, John Lövgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Eftra Queerboys's goal looked a bit too open when Alvar Fernström came free, but Anton Friberger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charlie Valrot hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for John Lövgren to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Lars-Erik Eliasson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eftra Queerboys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Årby FC the free kick. Eftra Queerboys's Anton Friberger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Lövgren in the 53rd minute of play. With a little luck, Eftra Queerboys's Anton Friberger got control of the ball when Alvar Fernström tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 72nd minute Jim Uggla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Einar Sjögren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Eftra Queerboys's Anton Friberger got control of the ball when Axel Clementsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 80 played minutes Eftra Queerboys got a freekick which was hit by Evert Odman. Alvar Fernström struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. A wasted opportunity for Årby FC. 89 minutes into the match, Alvar Fernström had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Anton Friberger. Eftra Queerboys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alvar Fernström was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Anton Friberger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo Colin, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 97th minute, Alvar Fernström ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anton Friberger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Årby FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
