The audience was convinced that Göran Stensson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jörgen Broman was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. Malmudden AIK's Jörgen Broman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Malmudden AIK from getting a goal against them. If Tim Igelström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Göran Stensson in the 20th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jörgen Broman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Staffan Bokelund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andréas Österlund having to interfere. Andréas Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Sandberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37thth minute of the game Staffan Bokelund who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Borrby United FC's Andréas Österlund was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Staffan Bokelund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Svensson's late challenge caught a Borrby United FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Svensson helped the player get up and apologised. In the 47th minute, Patrick Svensson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Urban Lindberg from long distance, 48 minutes into the match, got Jörgen Broman's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Staffan Bokelund stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Andréas Österlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Svensson, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Borrby United FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Malmudden AIK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
