Sune Lindman yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. CHASSEGÅRDEN's Erling Åkerström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jens-Erik Holmgren in the 18th minute of play. The supporters of Osby booed when CHASSEGÅRDEN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dick Hökkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 21 played minutes Osby got a freekick which was hit by Harald Britz. 25 minutes into the match, Osby's goal looked a bit too open when Olle Burman came free, but Sune Lindman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Osby's Sune Lindman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olle Burman in the 27th minute of play. When Jens-Erik Holmgren came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Osby fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jens-Erik Holmgren couldn't finish the play. Erling Åkerström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jens-Ove Sefastsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Kaj Ahlén received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sune Lindman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Sune Lindman successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Osby's Philip Gustafsson got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olle Burman was the one to do the kick off. In the 70th minute, Karl-Erik Askstedt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Erling Åkerström managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Osby's Jens-Ove Sefastsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 74th minute, Kaj Ahlén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Harald Lindsten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jens-Erik Holmgren was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 81st match minute, CHASSEGÅRDEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Erik Askstedt to maneuver through the defense. Dick Hökkvist scored 2-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sune Lindman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Jens-Ove Sefastsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ove Sefastsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erling Åkerström having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Osby players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for CHASSEGÅRDEN.
